3 Passions into 1

Today’s Make Up: Sea Sprite

Hello everyone! Hope you’re all doing well this terrific Tuesday. Yeah.. Can you believe that? We’re three days from the weekend, but don’t blink or it will surely pop up out of no where. It’s like the older you get, the faster time seems to go by. I remember when I was in elementary school, a day could NOT drag by any slower. Tsk tsk…

Arizona has a 60% chance of rain today, and not just rain but thunderstorm with high winds and all that good stuff. At the moment though, no more rain, just very, very cloudy skies, dark clouds and very humid. I really shouldn’t go anywhere today but I dreamt of my Grandma last night. Maybe she’s lonely out there by herself… So I decided to go visit her today. I spent some time out there just talking to her, filling her in on what’s happening. I think she’s happy there, resting next to her husband. She’s resting in peace now. I miss her and not a day goes by that I don’t think about her; I just can’t believe it’s been 6 months already.

I did some lazy makeup today since I didn’t really want to do full out makeup. I didn’t want my efforts to go to waste if I were to be caught in the rain. I haven’t used any of my Maybelline Eye Studio quads in the longest while so I thought I should give them a go today. I wanted something bright and whilst going through my drawers, Sea Sprite caught my eyes.

Throwback Thursday: Current Favorite Blush: Pinks & Coral

Hi all and happy Thursday! Today’s post will be a throwback of my favorite pink and coral blushes!! I hope y’all will enjoy. 🙂

Favorite Blush

I’ve noticed that I’ve recently used a lot of pink and coral blushes; by recent I mean the last month or month and a half. When it was the dead Winter’s month, I was still mainly into berries and wine blushes. It’s not even the fact that berries and wine shades were the trend, it was more so a feeling. The slightly darker shades seemed to match with the gloomy Winter weather. It makes sense right? Or am I just weird?…

It is no surprise that my current favorite blushes are pinks and corals. Today I will share with you nine of them, all drug store products. The most “expensive” blush out of the nine is, if I remember correctly, $7 or $8; the cheapest one is $1.99.

Physician Formula Shimmer Strips Custom Eye Enhancing Shadow – Smoky

Physician Formula Shimmer Strips Custom Eye Enhancing Shadow - Smoky

Hello, Hello again everyone. It is another gorgeous Thursday here in Arizona; clear blue skies with white fluffy clouds drifting, light breeze and the sun shining brightly in the sky…maybe a little too bright, for Winter standards at least.

Today, I will share with you my third and last Physician Formula Shimmer Strips Custom Eye Enhancing Shadow in the Smoky collection. I already talked about the other two palette, Nude and Casual the past two days. Out of the three palettes, this is my least favorite. I don’t hate it, no, it’s just the shades are not those I gravitate towards on a daily basis.

This palette is identical to Nude and Casual, with the exception of the shades. Similar to Nude and Casual, Smoky has a  plain black package with a biggo sparkly “diamond” to oomph the palette; I guess it’s trying to give off an elegant feel. Regarding the formula and texture, it has the same not-so-buttery yet not too dry, flaky or chalkiness. This could also be worn wet or dry for a soft or full intensity look. Smoky also has nine shadows, all of which are shimmery. Like the others, Smoky also has three suggested sets of shadows to create different looks. Think of it as three trios in one palette. But of course you can use all nine shadows however your heart desires. It’s suggested to make our experience easier.
