The Creative Blogger Award

Hello all! I feel very honored to be nominated for yet another blog award, this time, for the Creative Blogger Award. I was actually nominated about a month ago but as y’all might have noticed, I haven’t been around lately to get to it. I feel like every time I get back on, I always apologize to you guys about my absence. I don’t want my blog to be an obligation to me, that wasn’t why I started my blog. But in life, things happen and well.. things happen. Blogging is still very important to me and I really do love doing it. It may not seem like it but I do blog whenever I have the time, in which you can see, isn’t anymore. Being an adult sucks! BOOOOOOO!!!!

I would like to thank the ever wonderful Glam With Sam for this nomination. She has such a fun, quirky blog that I enjoy very much. Her reviews are ever so fun to read and very informative. Check her blog out! 😛

The Rules

  • Nominate 15-20 blogs and notify all nominees via their social media/blogs
  • Thank and post the link of the blog that nominated you (very important)
  • Share 5 facts about yourself to your readers
  • Pass these rules on to them

Sunday Mask: DIY Strawberry, Honey Mask & 15 Random Questions About Me

Hello Sunday everyone! Welcome back again for another DIY mask recipe. This week, our main ingredient are strawberries. Mmhmm, yummy. My Mom went to Sprouts Farmers’ Market and bought some fresh, juicy, ripe strawberries. I was snacking on this all weekend but there are still some left so I decided to make a mask out of it.

Strawberries are currently in season so this is definitely the best time to do masks as such  because you’re totally ensured that you’ll get 100% out of the fruit. Strawberries are packed with Vitamin C, salicylic acid, antioxidants, alpha hydroxy acids and ellagic acids. Such properties helps with the immune system if orally ingested and the skin if applied, either with the juice or the whole fruit. Strawberries may help with slight hyper pigmentation, acne, puffiness under the eyes and an overall excellent exfoliant among others.

DIY STRAWBERRY MASK

What you’ll need:
– 8 – 9 fresh, ripe Strawberries
– 3 tablespoons of Honey
– 1 tablespoon of Extra Virgin Olive Oil (optional)
– 1/2 – 1 tablespoon of Lemon Juice (optional)

7 Deadly Sins of Beauty Tag

Hey all, heeeeeeey. Welcome back to another post! I apologize it isn’t any new material but another tag… At least it’s beauty related? LOL. I am still unpacking and actually feel a bit under the weather so I’m trying to rest in between unpacking and composing this post. I hope y’all will enjoy this 7 Deadly Sins of Beauty tag and please feel free steal it from me if you wanna do it yourself. Please just tag me so I can also read them, which I think would be quite fun. Enjoy! 🙂

1. GREED: What is your most inexpensive beauty item? What is your most expensive?
Most inexpensive would have to go to my e.l.f and Wet N Wild products. Most e.l.f Essential things are only $1 each and a few Wet N Wild things go for as low as 98 cents. On the opposite end of the spectrum, the most expensive beauty item I own is probably my AmorePacific Future Response Age Defense Creme which I picked up at Sephora for $195. Either that or my dr. brandt Microdermabrasion. I can’t recall how much I got it for, but they’re having a sale on their site right now!
